Award underpins Experian’s commitment to its people and the communities in which it operates

Costa Mesa, Calif., Dec. 12, 2016 — Recognizing Experian’s commitment to creating an enriching and rewarding environment for its employees, the Orange County Register named the global information services company a Top Workplace Honoree at its recent gala ceremony. The award, based on employee feedback in a survey of hundreds of leading companies in Orange County, marks the fourth time Experian has been honored with this recognition.

“This award validates that how we work at Experian is as important as what we do and why we do it,” said Experian North America chief executive officer Craig Boundy. “Our employees come to the office every day knowing that their work positively impacts individual consumers, economies and society more broadly — including the Orange County community, which Experian has called home for more than 40 years.”

Every day, Experian’s data and analytics are helping people and businesses achieve more. Experian employees work to help people do important things to improve their lives and realize their ambitions, such as buying a car or home, funding an education, growing a business or protecting their identity.

Experian® is equally committed to giving back to the Orange County community. Employees volunteer with the OC Food Bank and participate in the Child Abuse Prevention Center’s Adopt-a-Family and Stop Hunger Now programs, among others. Experian also uses its professional tools to establish social innovation programs that identify and fund new products fostering financial inclusion, promoting financial education and supporting small-business entrepreneurs.

“We are honored to have received a Top Workplace award for the past four years and plan to continue that momentum in the coming years,” said Boundy. “Our goal is to unlock the power of data and continue to inspire our employees to make an ongoing impact on our communities, our clients and consumers around the world.”

The Top Workplaces were determined based solely on employee feedback. The awards assess businesses of all sizes according to 22 criteria on topics such as compensation, benefits, job satisfaction and social responsibility. The Orange County Register published the complete list of Top Workplaces on Friday, Dec. 9. The survey was conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement.
