July 31, 2026 – Experian, a leading global data and technology company has been recognized in the 2026 Disability Index®, earning recognition as a World’s Top Disability Inclusive Business in the United States, United Kingdom, Brazil and, for the first time, Australia. The achievement reflects Experian’s ongoing commitment to creating an accessible, inclusive workplace.
The Disability Index is widely recognized as a comprehensive benchmarking tool that helps organizations measure and advance disability inclusion across their workplaces. It is trusted by over 70% of the Fortune 100 and nearly half of the Fortune 500 and provides companies with data-driven insights to assess performance, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement over time.
“Experian's goal is to create a workplace defined by belonging, not barriers. Having Australia recognized alongside the United States, United Kingdom and Brazil in this year’s Disability Index demonstrates the progress we’re making globally towards greater accessibility and inclusion. We are committed to ensuring that every employee has the opportunity to contribute, grow and succeed,” said Valdemir Bertolo, chief executive officer, Experian Latin America and global sponsor of Experian’s Barrier Free Workplace Initiative, a cross-functional effort focused on improving accessibility for employees, clients and consumers.
Over the past year, Experian has continued to advance accessibility initiatives around the world. LV = is the most recent organization to join Experian’s Support Hub in the United Kingdom, a “tell it once” service that allows people to share their support needs with multiple businesses in a simple, standardized way. New internal assistive technology storefronts launched in Brazil and Australia, helping employees access tools and resources that support a wide range of abilities. Accessibility across products and digital experiences continue to be advanced, aligning with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, an international standard.
“This year’s Disability Index shows that leading companies are embedding disability inclusion into the core of how they operate. It's shaping how businesses design products, build trust, and drive innovation. The companies leading today are the ones building more adaptable, resilient, and future-ready organizations,” said Jill Houghton, president and chief executive officer of Disability:IN.
