As the festive season fast approaches, we get excited by the social gatherings, get togethers and gift giving. But it’s key to remember to be cautious and careful with personal information, especially online. Businesses need to be able to identify who they are doing business with and consumers need to know the businesses they are interacting with online are real, safe and secure.

Identity fraud rose by more than a fifth this year, amid warnings that fraudulent activity is set to peak over the Christmas shopping period.
