Experian’s Vision 2013 Conference delivers insight on creating strategies for opportunity and growth

Costa Mesa, Calif., May 9, 2013 — Experian®, the leading global information services company, wrapped up its industry-leading Vision 2013 Conference yesterday. The 32nd Vision Conference, held May 5–8 in Carlsbad, Calif., brought together industry experts for a productive exchange of ideas on today’s most relevant issues and to provide exclusive insight on creating strategies for opportunity and growth in their business.

The comprehensive agenda gave attendees strategies to improve business performance and results despite economic, regulatory and political changes. More than 75 breakout sessions led by Experian experts, clients and industry experts examined risk management, business lending, the changing landscape for regulatory compliance and innovation in data analytics.

This year’s keynote speakers included:
• Timothy F. Geithner, 75th U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, who shared his experiences as the principal architect of the president’s strategy to avert economic collapse and to reform the financial system. He also discussed international economic challenges and his personal outlook on the economy.
• Sir Ken Robinson, Ph.D., author of The Element: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything and Out of Our Minds: Learning to be Creative, shared ideas on how to cultivate innovation and change within organizations in order to grow and thrive.
• James W. Paulsen, Ph.D., chief investment strategist, Wells Capital Management, provided an upbeat economic outlook for 2013 and discussed what it means for the next generation.

“This year’s event sold out in record time,” said Lloyd Parker, group president, Credit Services, Experian North America. “We hear from our clients after every conference that they attend Vision because of the wealth of topics presented that can be applied directly to business strategies — strategies that create real opportunities and real growth. It was an action- and information-packed conference, and we are looking forward to growing the conference next year based on the high demand.”

Mark your calendars now for Experian’s Vision 2014 Conference, which will be held May 4–7 in Dallas, Texas.
