Payless Car Sales selects Experian Automotive’s AutoCheck®
as exclusive vehicle history provider

AutoCheck reports now available on all pre-owned vehicles sold through Payless Car Sales’ dealer network and Websites

Schaumburg, Ill., Dec. 13, 2010 — Payless Car Sales today announced that Experian Automotive’s AutoCheck® will be used as the exclusive vehicle history report for all pre-owned vehicles sold through its nationwide dealership network; its company-provided Websites; and its corporate Website, http://www.paylesscarsales.com.

Providing AutoCheck vehicle history reports at its dealerships and on its Websites will help Payless Car Sales shoppers quickly and easily see that a Payless Car Sales Certified Pre-Owned vehicle is free of reported accidents, odometer issues, title brands, frame-damage announcements and other important information that will help buyers make a confident pre-owned vehicle purchase.

“Transparency is a crucial element of building trustworthy customer relationships, and the AutoCheck vehicle history reports provide a level of detail that we believe is the best in the industry,” said Phil Morgan, executive director of Payless Development, U.S. master developer for Payless Car Sales. “We know that our customers are particularly interested in the most up-to-date accident data, and with the robust accident and frame damage data that Experian Automotive provides, AutoCheck was the clear choice. We are pleased to bring this information to our Certified Pre-Owned program, as well as provide it on all pre-owned vehicles sold through our dealerships in order to protect our customers and increase their confidence with the Payless Car Sales shopping and purchasing process.”

Under this exclusive agreement, free vehicle history reports will be available to customers for all pre-owned vehicles at Payless Car Sales franchise dealerships or listed on its Websites.

“We are excited to bring AutoCheck to Payless Car Sales and its dealer network,” said Scott Waldron, president of Experian Automotive. “Every time an automotive dealer commits to using AutoCheck vehicle history reports, they are taking an important step forward for both the buyer and seller. The detailed vehicle history information in AutoCheck enhances the credibility of any Certified Pre-Owned program and provides car shoppers with an increased level of confidence that they are buying a quality pre-owned vehicle.”
