Experians Marc Gaudart wins prestigious Arts & Business award

Nottingham, UK, 1 April 2008 - The winners of the Arts & Business East Midlands Awards 2008 were announced on Friday 28th March, with Experian’s Marc Gaudart scooping the coveted Individual of the Year award, sponsored by the Arts Council.

Marc, Senior Vice President for Experian’s Decision Analytics division, received the accolade for his voluntary work with Broadway Media Centre after his considerable contribution to the board of Nottingham's Broadway, which he joined two years ago.  Marc contributed to major changes in the way Broadway operates, providing fresh insight and experience to its marketing, finance and general management.

Marc spoke about his delight and surprise at winning "It was a brilliant experience, and I did not expect to win. With so many strong contenders, I feel very honoured. I really enjoy working with the creative and inspiring team at Broadway. This is a very vibrant place, focusing on cinema, media and digital arts. This award is really a tribute to the success of Broadway and its people. I strongly recommend other business people to take responsibilities in Arts organisations; it is truly a rewarding experience."
