(RDI), the leading provider of enhancements and integrations to Retail Pro®, today announced the immediate availability of an integration between QAS Pro and Retail Pro®. The new product combines QAS Pro, a front-end address verification product, with an RDI-produced Retail Pro® plug-in. Retail Pro® users now can add front-end address verification capabilities to their existing environment, resulting in savings, improved data quality and increased productivity.

Experian QAS software validates, cleanses, standardizes and enriches customer addresses as the information is entered into the Retail Pro® receipt, customer or Sales Order entry modules. For retailers using Retail Pro®, the integration reduces the volume of returned shipments and the associated packing and shipping costs, providing enhanced customer service. Easy-to-follow prompts and pick lists result in complete and accurate address capture while decreasing data-entry time. The Version 8 series is available now, while the Version 9 integration is targeted for release by the end of 2008.
