Experian’s New “BFF” Ad Campaign Featuring Pro Football Stars Fred Warner and Puka Nacua Highlights the Power of Friendship - On and Off the Field

The star duo appear in the newest installment of Experian’s “Big Financial Friend” campaign, showcasing how Experian helps people save time and money

COSTA MESA, Calif., Dec. 18, 2025 — Experian is celebrating friendship, football, and financial wellness with a new national ad campaign featuring professional football stars and real-life best friends San Francisco Linebacker Fred Warner and Los Angeles Wide Receiver Puka Nacua. The campaign spotlights how the Experian app can be the ultimate teammate, helping consumers cancel unwanted subscriptions[i], track spending, and make smarter financial moves.

The commercials were developed by The Cooler, Experian’s in-house creative agency, and filmed at a football stadium in October 2025. In a laid-back, unscripted format, Warner and Nacua kick back on the 50-yard line to talk about life, football, and finances — with plenty of laughs and friendly competition along the way.

“Fred and Puka’s chemistry was so natural that it made our job easy,” said Todd Miller, Chief Creative Director at The Cooler. “Because they really are great friends off the field, the idea of Experian as your ‘Big Financial Friend’ came to life authentically. All we had to do was let them be themselves and let the cameras roll.”

"As an athlete, I know the importance of having the right tools to succeed—and the same goes for your finances,” said four-time All-Pro LB Warner. “That’s why I’m proud to work with Experian again. Their app gives people the power to take control of their finances and keep more money in their pocket."

Your Financial Game Plan with Experian

The new spots focus on the many ways the Experian app helps consumers save time and money, including the Subscription Cancellation feature which can help people save over $300[ii] per year by automatically identifying and canceling unwanted subscriptions like unused fitness memberships and streaming services. The feature joins a suite of tools designed to help people ‘win’ at their finances.

“Even though Fred and Puka are rivals on the field, we loved the idea of bringing them together to showcase their friendship off the field,” added Steve Hartmann, Head of Integrated Marketing at Experian. “Their energy really brings the Experian BFF campaign to life demonstrating how Experian can be the trusted partner by your side like a best friend who’s always looking out for your wallet.”

The Warner–Nacua campaign will debut in late December, with placements during key sporting events including pro football’s Wild Card and Divisional Playoff games, and the College Football Playoffs. The creative will also appear across streaming platforms, social media, and other digital and connected TV platforms.

To support the launch of the new campaign, Experian is also serving as the presenting sponsor of a new digital series titled “Real Ones: The League” hosted by Warner. The players were secured for the campaign by Athletes First, the premier sports representation and marketing agency, which also represents Warner for marketing, while JABEZ Marketing Group is the exclusive marketing representative for Nacua.
