Experian Health earns Best in KLAS award for fifth straight year

eCare NEXT® earned highest marks in Patient Access category of KLAS’ 2015/2016 Software & Services Report

Franklin, Tenn., Jan. 28, 2016Experian Health, the healthcare industry leader for comprehensive patient payment and care experience products and services, today announced that its eCare NEXT® solution earned the highest score in the Patient Access category of the 2015/2016 Best in KLAS: Software & Services Report. The report is based on thousands of healthcare providers that KLAS interviews every year.

“We are greatly honored that our clients continue to hold our solutions in such high regard that we have been recognized consistently by KLAS year after year,” said Scott Bagwell, president of Experian Health. “We are committed to providing the tools, services and information our clients need to readily initiate innovative programs that improve financial performance, increase patient satisfaction and provide a competitive edge.”

Experian Health has received the highest rank in the Patient Access category five years in a row. Beginning in 2011, Experian Health was named category leader in Patient Access — Eligibility Checking. In 2014, this expanded with eCare NEXT being recognized as Best in KLAS in the broader Patient Access category.

“As healthcare continues to evolve, it is imperative that we seek innovation and constantly address the needs of a shifting market. The Best in KLAS and Category Leader winners are the ones making the greatest strides within their market segments. I congratulate each of you for your award,” said Adam Gale, CEO and president of KLAS. “KLAS is honored to work with talented healthcare providers who willingly share their experiences with us and make the Best in KLAS report possible. We also commend all the vendors who strive to improve their products and services in order to provide the best possible healthcare. It is truly a joint effort.”

eCare NEXT is an integrated workflow platform that incorporates Touchless Processing™ to automate revenue cycle workflows intelligently and clear patients financially. This approach enables healthcare organizations to centralize operations where appropriate and focus resource efforts only on those exceptions that need attention. The resulting benefit is significant in that it optimizes payment certainty across all patients while enabling healthcare providers to manage all orders, scheduling, registration and financial clearance through a single business partner. eCare NEXT also supports population health management initiatives to help clients manage their patients’ entire course of care — from initial diagnosis through full recovery — streamlining workflow, identifying and managing specialty members at the point of service, and reducing readmissions.
