Charles Brown

Charlie Brown joined Experian in October 2006 as Company Secretary. Based in Dublin, Ireland, his responsibilities include corporate governance, statutory and listing rules compliance and reporting, Board support, shareholder services and sustainability. Before joining Experian, Charlie was Group Company Secretary at Standard Chartered PLC and was previously Director, Corporate Secretariat at Allied Domecq plc, Head of Secretariat at RMC Group p.l.c. and Assistant Company Secretary at English China Clays plc. Charlie is Secretary to the Experian plc Board and its principal Committees and Experian’s Global Strategic Projects Committee and a member of Experian’s Group Operating Committee. He is a Fellow and President UK & Ireland and a global council member of the Chartered Governance Institute (CGI), and a member of the CGI's Company Secretaries Forum and the Association for the General Counsel and Company Secretaries of FTSE 100 companies.
