London, UK, 4 June 2015 – Experian, the global information services company, has appointed Barry Libenson as Chief Information Officer (CIO). Prior to joining Experian, Barry was CIO of Safeway in North America.

Reporting to Kerry Williams, Chief Operating Officer of Experian, Barry will be responsible for the development and delivery of the Group’s global technology strategy. 

“Barry’s strategic, operational and leadership experience will enable us to drive further developments in the use of technology and innovation to help people, businesses and organisations protect, manage and make the most of their information. Barry’s appointment is an excellent addition to Experian’s global executive management team,” said Kerry Williams.

With 25 years executive experience, Barry has held a number of technology leadership roles, which include CIO positions at Land O’Lakes and Ingersoll Rand where he led complex, multinational IT programmes.

He will be based at Experian’s North American headquarters in Costa Mesa, California.
